Park Acoustics

I was commissioned to illustrate a poster for Park Acoustics, a monthly outdoor music festival held at the Voortrekker Monument in Pretoria. My visual concept, “Summer Days in the Park,” captures the carefree feeling of spending a sunny day outdoors, enjoying live music and good company. The goal was to evoke the light, elevated mood of being “on cloud nine.” I used a clean vector illustration style to keep the composition visually balanced and easy to engage with, while subtle background patterns represent the movement and rhythm of music surrounding the crowd — creating an atmosphere of warmth, joy, and celebration.
